The terms behind your order.
Plain-English terms that apply when you buy from our online store. They sit alongside your rights under the Australian Consumer Law, which always apply. If anything here isn't clear, just call us.

1. Who you’re buying from
The MEGALS online store is operated by Despower Pty Ltd (ABN 41 641 652 806), trading as MEGALS, of 76 Macleod Street, Bairnsdale VIC 3875. In these terms, “we”, “us” and “MEGALS” mean Despower Pty Ltd. These Terms of Sale apply to every order you place through this store. By placing an order you agree to them.
2. Prices and GST
All prices are in Australian dollars and include GST unless stated otherwise. Delivery charges, where they apply, are shown separately at checkout before you pay. We try to keep every price accurate, but prices and product details can change without notice up until you place your order.
3. Placing an order and our acceptance
When you complete checkout and pay, you’re making an offer to buy the items in your cart. Your order is accepted — and a contract is formed — when we send you an order confirmation or make the goods available for collection or dispatch. If we can’t accept your order (for example, an item is out of stock, mispriced, or unavailable in your area), we’ll let you know and arrange a full refund of any amount charged.
4. Payment
Payments are processed securely by Stripe. Your card details are handled by Stripe and never stored on MEGALS’s servers. You confirm that you’re authorised to use the payment method you provide. Some premium products are enquiry-only and are invoiced separately rather than paid for online — we’ll guide you through that where it applies.
5. Delivery and collection
We offer free Click & Collect from our Bairnsdale showroom and delivery across Victoria, with freight quoted for addresses outside Victoria. Delivery timeframes are estimates, not guarantees. Full details are on our Shipping & Returns page, which forms part of these terms.
6. Title and risk
Risk in the goods passes to you when they’re delivered to you or collected by you (or someone on your behalf). Title in the goods stays with MEGALS until we’ve received payment in full.
7. Your rights under the Australian Consumer Law
Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. For a major failure you’re entitled to a replacement or refund, and to compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. For a problem that doesn’t amount to a major failure, you’re entitled to have it repaired, replaced, or refunded within a reasonable time. Nothing in these terms limits those rights. 8. Change of mind and cancellations
We don’t offer refunds or exchanges for change of mind, so please choose carefully — call us on 03 5152 4894 before you order if you’re unsure. If you need to change or cancel an order, contact us as soon as possible and we’ll help where we can; we can’t always stop an order that has already been dispatched.
9. Pricing or description errors
Occasionally a product may be listed with an incorrect price or description despite our best efforts. If we discover an error in an order you’ve placed, we’ll contact you to confirm whether you’d like to proceed at the correct price or cancel for a full refund, before the order is processed.
10. Privacy
We use the information you give us to process and deliver your order and to provide support. We handle your personal information in line with the Privacy Act and Australian Privacy Principles.
